    i did the simplistic mod like you, put neogammer on the sd card, loaded it from hbc and then booted nsmb unpatched. worked fine. will prob work fine with patched version on disk channel too.

    I use this to carry my memory sticks: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-LCH-MA-Memory.../dp/B0000DZNIV/ carries 8, and looks smart too.

    hey godsakes, I tried another 10 games and all worked fine. I can't think what could be causing the prob I'm afraid. I didn't change any of the roms. the one I got from usenet is currently 65 days old, on a.b.games.xbox, posted by HellsFury. if you have a spare dvd9 you could try burning...

    I have to admit I have only tried 2 games on it, the japanese version of Renegade, and Outrun, but both worked great for me. did you copy the save data files to your hd? details are in the readme file. I ftp'd the whole thing to my xbox hd and it worked great. I'll try some other games...

    Gaming RROD Poll

    I've had mine since June 08, no rrod so far. It's in a good position with nothing around it, but there's not much else it seems you can do to prevent it happening. I only get a few hours a week to play it usually, so mine doesn't get much wear... I wish I was still a teenager and had the time...

    thanks for the suggestions guys! I came across this memory stick holder http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-LCH-MA-Memory...g/dp/B0000DZNIV that should slip in with most psp cases, and can hold 8 memory sticks.

    Can anyone recommend a good case for the slim, that has storage for a few memory sticks? I've seen a lot of cases, but none seem to mention much about memory stick storage, only umd storage.

    did you make the cache files with the romconv utility? that is necessary for quite a few of the neo geo games.
