    Top left is Vs. Friends, Top Right is Vs. Anyone, Bottom is options I can't remember what the top option is right now, but I'm pretty sure it should just stay on. The bottom one is for the WiiConnect24 stuff (daily stages and stuff). I have that off, I dunno what happens if you turn it on

    I think it happens when you play in 50Hz only. Try turning deflicker off, switching to 60Hz. It should be fixed, and you can then go back to 50Hz and it should still be alright.
