    i put the official 3.55 on new hard drive and then I installed cfw kmeaw 3.55 in recovery mode after all of that I used the restore option to restore all my saved data

    ok I'm finally done with everything. What I did was Backed up my data I switched hard drives I installed OFW 3.55 then formatted hdd I upgraded to kmeaw's cfw 3.55 I used the restore utility and recovered all my data and saved games.

    the ps3 is not giving me any option to format the hard drive. It's asking me to connect a usb drive with a firmware version of 3.55 or higher and then press start+select does this mean I have to install ofw 3.55 and then do the hacking process again?
