    Hacking Nintendont

Well then I got nothing. At least downloading the ini did the trick, but I have no earthly clue why it was necessary.

    Hacking Nintendont

You know, it could be that when I updated from an older version I only overwrote the boot.dol and neglected the meta.xml. At least, that's the best explanation I've got.

    Hacking Nintendont

As it turns out, I didn't have any controller files in the first place. Derp. I couldn't download them through the app itself on account of the crashing, but I grabbed the zip through the github and everything's working as intended now. Wonder why mine didn't work out of the box though?

    Hacking Nintendont

Nintendont detects neither my DS4 nor a GCN controller through the Wii U adapter. I tried to update controllers.zip thinking that would help, and every single time I am given this (http://puu.sh/vZAGa/b8a92c1bd3.jpg) error instead. Any ideas what could be keeping my controllers from working, and...

Hacking The Definitive vWii Hacking Guide!

Simple enough. Just incidentally, I downloaded the latest versions of Nintendont and GX from their respective sources and it seems that the links in the OP are significantly outdated. The GX link was a version so old that updating from the app itself wasn't possible, and Nintendont jumped up an...

Hacking The Definitive vWii Hacking Guide!

Bah, I finally get around to hacking my vWii last week after putting it off for years and there's a change to the process yesterday. Is switching to 52 from 53 relatively painless?

Addressing the recent user account hack scare

Now where would've they gotten a list of unencrypted usernames and passwords? :^) In all seriousness, the password I've been using was burned long ago so this change is overdue anyway.

    Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

I tried to use CTR boot manager to get to my luma rednand without going through the homebrew menu, but my system just crashes every time I choose Luma3DS. Homebrew menu works from ctr though. Have I done something wrong? I'm told that many others have had the same question recently so it makes...

Homebrew [Release] FBI - Open source CIA installer

Let me know if you ever figure that out.

    Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

Neat. Guess I'll just hold off on all this until then. No rush as long as I'm on 9.2, eh? Is there a simple explanation for why the next release won't require that file, just out of curiosity?

    Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

I apologize for what I'm sure is a dumb question, but when the setup says to use the firmware from the n3ds folder, does this imply that I can't update my emunand via system update as I can with rxtools? I followed an incredibly simplified guide for hacking my launch 3DS and I'm finding that...

PS1/2 So yeah, that "stealth VIII" (PSX) modchip...

I'm just going to drop this off right here. To the left is the diagram for the stealth VIII. To the right is the diagram for the MultiMode 3 (with the second soldering point obscured by a textbox for some terrible reason). Notice anything, you know, similar? Is there a particularly good...

    PS1/2 Pre-programmed PSX Modchip?

I only disparage that diagram because its 7 wire sister chip on the very same site's diagram is so much more clear and detailed. There's certainly no rush, I haven't even learned to solder yet. I just want to make sure I get the highest quality modchip with the best stealth mode available. I...

    PS1/2 Pre-programmed PSX Modchip?

While looking a little bit more, I found this. Is this any good? And this sites schematics kinda suck, can anyone tell what 2, 3, and 6 are pointing at? The instructions for the 7 wire counterpart are crystal clear, but I'm not sure the 7 wire has as good of stealth as the 8 wire.

    PS1/2 Pre-programmed PSX Modchip?

I have an SCPH-9001 and I'd like to mod it (after I learn to solder). Problem is, I'm not sure what to do. I'm not sure which chip to go for, I'm not sure who even still sells PSX modchips (eurasia is the only vendor I've even found so far), I'm not sure if I'll have to program it myself, I'm...
