Thank you so much! I've been banging my head against the wall trying to format a 4 TB WD ext HDD to FAT32 for 3 hrs. Tried all the usual suspects (guiformat, Fat32Formatter, gparted, EaseUS, etc.) and nothing would go over 2 TB. Finally I came across your post linked here in the 3tb-4tb-5tb-or-6tb-drives thread and all was revealed. I downloaded WD Quick Formatter and all problems went away. You are my hero today.
