found out my switch was patched over my thanksgiving break. felt dissapointed with myself and the switch. time to look for an affordable, unpatched switch.

I am unable to go out to the different stores on Black Friday.
Should I be grateful, that I do not get trampled by anxious and brazen consumers, only thinking about the money that they, and them alone, get to save and use on more important expenses? Or should I feel remorse, that I do not get to witness the instance of fragility in human society, known only as Black Friday?

My switch is possibly patched, but if I try to hack it and it doesn't work, what will happen? Will my switch brick? Will nothing happen?
I would like try it myself, but I dont want to risk bricking or ruining my only working switch.

when you serve tea, its usually hot
typically when someone is talking gossip, its brand new news or "hot off the presses"
so when someone says "the tea for x is ___" they're talking about "hot news"
it makes so much sense yet so little at the same time
