This should assist those who have any questions regarding the latest things on IOS37, the Wii Downgrader, and the Custom IOS.
IOS37-64-v2070.wad
What is it: This is a packed format of IOS37, which is used during the Custom IOS installation. It is placed on the root of your SD card, and then the Custom IOS installer patches this and installs it as IOS249.
What is it: This is a program by Waninkoko which downgrades your Wii to a previous firmware version. This lets you access the features (or vulnerabilities) of past firmwares which are currently patched. It relies on the Custom IOS to function.
What is it: Homebrew can use this IOS to do things it couldn't previously do, such as have access to the entire DVD drive, or be able to uninstall itself, which a normal IOS could not do. It is installed as a patch to IOS37, and can also be uninstalled.
Yes, you can find the Wii Downgrader and the Custom IOS Installer and Uninstaller on a Non-Spanish site.

- Nobody will or rightfully can link this to you. It contains Nintendo's copyright code.
- Find it on Google
- Can't find it, look again
- Sometimes different Google languages might work, such as Google Deutschland (Thanks, Badges)
- There is a way to download the files from Nintendo needed to make IOS37, but it is a bit more complicated. (Directory of those files, add the tmd, and the content files, such as 00000000, 00000001, etc.) (Thanks, dsfgd, Jacobeian)
- You need this for the cIOS installation
- Put it at the root of the SD card during installation.
- If you receive (ret=-1), put it in your SD card root, because you didn't.
- Do NOT install this with the Wad Manager, or any Wad program. It is used only with this cIOS installer.

- This can bring you either up or down in the firmware version.
- Why use this? You can get system menu trucha support back, amongst other things.
- If you receive errors, make sure you have a working internet connection.
- Unlike this cIOS installer, this program downloads what it needs from Nintendo. If for some reason it stops working for everybody, they probably removed their files or something.
- Be absolutely careful with this, it is messing around with your IOS files, etc.
Do NOT turn your Wii off during a downgrade until the process is finished.
Correction: The Downgrader is threaded, so nothing will be installed until it is finished. (Thanks, teq)

- This is a custom IOS, or rather, a patched version of IOS37 which allows homebrew software to do things it couldn't do before.
- Mainly this is for DVD access, which can be used to dump games over wifi for instance.
- It requires the IOS37-64-v2070.wad to be on the root of SD card when installing.
- There is also an uninstaller, which can remove the Custom IOS.
- The specific number of the Custom IOS is IOS249, so when reading that, remember they are one in the same.
- This does NOT change anything that you can see on your Wii, ie, not the System Menu.
- It will not override the IOS37, it installs to the 249th slot of your Wii's IOS placement.
- Do not ask questions that have been already asked, this can clog a thread and get quite annoying
- This means that you should read an entire thread through
- Something like the Firefox Re-Pagination addon would be helpful in this case, as it can put all the pages into one, then you would just do a search for your question.
- Always Google, but if your question cannot be found after 3 searches, then post a thread on it if you feel one is needed, or use a related thread after you read through the entire thing for your question.
- All of these homebrew programs can be used on any firmware which runs homebrew, it doesn't have to be any specific one.
