Homebrew Idea of getting Warcraft on DS

I have an idea for to get Warcraft 1 or 2 on the DS. First, download vmac ds, a macintosh OS for the DS. Then download OS 7.5.3 or later (in .dsk format) and set it up with the vmac ds. Then, download either Warcraft 1 or 2 (Mac) (I would try demos first) and install them on the OS you put on your ds. I have tried this already but failed. I don't own a mac so I don't really know how to decompress the game files onto the DS mac OS. Also, after doing this my Supercard experienced a psram error, so I had to fix it afterwards.

Anyone up for trying this?

The closest you'll ever get is running it on PSP as a PS1 game.

Considering Blizzard's attitude as of late against homebrew attempts of Starcraft and Diablo, I can't see anyone else trying to port it either.

I knew of the Starcraft one, but Diablo?

Blizzard did ask the question if people would like to see portable Starcraft and Diablo though, so maybe in the near future they may release these?

Just a very, very early alpha. I wouldn't expect anything remotely gameplay-like until a long while yet, which gives Blizzard even more time to step in and shut down the project should it actually bear fruit.

Oh wow, hah. Blizz came in on that one fast.

Blizzard should start some form of project for the DS. Starcraft, Diablo, and even Warcraft three could all be GREAT on the DS due to the touch screen working for RTS and Diablo for simple movement and such. Yeah.

you make me laugh, if somebody could make a homebrew of starcraft that ran that well(even if it was cancelled) a port of warcraft 1(hell maybe even 2) would be a piece of cake
