Screens & video here, but it really needs to be seen in motion:

In Soul Bubbles the player controls a young shaman apprentice, who is entrusted with saving lost “souls” and guiding them to safety. He must protect these fragile beings from the hostile and dangerous world around them, and he does this by creating protective bubbles to keep the spirits safe.

Manipulate your bubbles by first drawing them, then deflating them, cutting them or joining them to other bubbles, filling them with water or gas; then escape traps, extinguish fires and avoid all the sticky or dangerous surfaces that will slow the bubbles down.

The game features 8 worlds, with over 40 levels to explore which will challenge the shaman in a variety of ways – and push the physics capabilities of the Nintendo DS to the max.

Looks like a very nice little action puzzler, sort of reminds me of a much more advance Bubble Ghost. Very pretty with a really nice graphic style and flare to it & I reckon us who love Kirby's Canvas Curse would go for this. Its out in Europe 13th June.

I'm gonna be really mad if this is another game that requires me to blow my DS.

Same here. I'm already out in public playing a DS, I don't need people thinking I have mental problems because I'm blowing at it.

That game looks so fun... I can't wait for it to come out... That website you linked to didn't give a release date. Does anyone know when the release date might be?

As I said in my post:
QUOTE(Hadrian @ May 22 2008, 08:33 AM) Its out in Europe 13th June.

Also the site does give a date June 10th for US release but its exclusive to Toys 'r' Us though many online stores list it too.

Oh I've seen this one way back but not the video. Glad to see it runs smooth, physics games are lovely but sometimes the framerate can really hamper the experience, like in Mr. Slime.

Also, Gish DS anyone

Now this looks interesting. I know it's blasphemy to say it but I didn't like Canvas Curse much (I know it's innovative, just didn't enjoy playing it), but I'm definitely going to keep an eye on this one.

Surely they won't make you blow on the DS, this game requires so much blowing that you'd risk passing out!

And good to see the bubble doesn't pop when it hits something, I was beyond crap at Bubble Ghost (squee someone remembers Bubble ghost!

Psyfira - I hated Canvas Curse too! I thought I was only one!

My thoughts exactly.

But the game does look very interesting but so did many of DS games that turned out to be a disappointment.

Will judge when this game get released.

You didn't like Canvas Curse? What you only played the first few levels or something?

Hi! For those worried about blowing into the mic, don't be. The bubbles are moved around using the stylus and the touch screen.
