Question now though, is when. ESRB's rated a few games for the VC (assumedly) before and they have yet to release...

Wait... what if it's Earthbound for NES?... Maybe Nintendo decided to use it, seeing how it endend fourth on the "Most Wanted on VC" poll on Nintendo Power...

Maybe they're going to publish the entire series...

There are loads from back in 2006 that have yet to appeared, but I reckon this'll be out this year.

Not as if its gonna exactly cost them that much to put it onto VC, and it'll easily make that back.

oh well, let's rejoice, it's an awesome news, first VC game I would buy.

And the other games that have to be released and been rated by ESRB, had a third party binded to it, like Mario RPG and such.

Well rumor is there is a new Kid Icarus in the works and when Reggie said there is a game so shocking every fanboy will fall over we assumed it was Animal Crossings but hey now...how sweet it would be to see Earthbound Wii

The Kid Icarus thing is pretty much a go now, I believe ... and what they are doing with Animal Crossing I think may be a mistake ... a new EarthBound would be nice ...

Mother 4 isn't going to happen, according to the series creator. However, that may change.... Mother 3 just dropped two years ago, and if Itoi continues to wait 10 years between games, then we'll see Mother 4 sometime before shortly 2016.

Nintys next big move with the series is Mother 3 or Mother 1+2.

I'm in on that. I've been wanting a shot at it again after 10 years (had it long ago, got it used for $30 complete and yay sold for 2x that or so.) I refuse to be screwed by fanboy douchebags with no concept of the value of money who jack it up to like $100 in used markets now. :\

I'll happily pop the $8 for this and park my ass on the couch anyday.

For the ESRB to rate a game it has to be done or pretty far along in it's development. For it to be a remake, they'd have to of made it without any leaks or prior announcements. And I find that pretty unlikely.
