Does this fit under Wii hacking? Not quite imo, but moreso than some other topics in this subforum.

So, if your crappy rip of Brawl bring you to green text on a white background, don't panic just yet.
Eject the disc and put it back in. 90% of the time the game will pick right back up. This is sensitive to context but it has always recovered in my experience with this trick if it crashes on menus or before the title screen.

It doesn't fix everything but makes it WAY more playable.


stats for the curious:
1.9g Wiikey, some no-name blank DVD-R, 4x, launch wii.
If you are using good enough media to never have crashes then cool.



I meant to post this yesterday but was umm... busy.
 
Sounds like your media, really. After 15 hours of Smashing so far I have not had a problem (Same stats except for Memorex DVD-R).

Yeah I'm sure it is, but a lot of other people are going through the same problem and I'd rather wait for a DL wiikey update than go out and buy more/a DVD-R just to burn the rip Smash Bros. X again.
