Wiikey Team Update Website

New image of hologram sticker rather than firmware update

wiikeyupdate.jpg

The Wiikey Team has shown signs that they are in fact still alive. Their website has been updated with a new image of the hologram sticker with the text "Demand a Genuine". On a similar note GBAtemp would like short changed customers to "demand a firmware update."

The update to fix GameCube audio streaming is months late even though being told it was near completion on multiple occasions.

Since GBAtemp lowered the Wiikey's score in our official review last week our friends over at WiiNewz have done the same. They have also now begun lowering the score by one point for every week the fabled firmware update doesn't arrive.

GBAtemp recommends potential customers avoid the Wiikey due to the horrendous customer service. We hope the Wiikey team get their act together.

Even more glad I opted to wait until 100% import was implemented before I bought any mod chips for my wii.

The long-awaited upgrade to wiikey is basically finished, and is now being tested on different systems to ensure that is is working smoothly.
I hope that it runs smoothly as butter by the time we get it. i mean, damn, almost a month late! They must've had time to test over 1000 systems by now, even if they're being lazy! thats about 3-4 wiis a day they could be testing it on! That would also be 1000 times it would have been 'released'.

Hell, then just say: here's our uncompleted beta, it bricks 2 of 3 units. Bricks D2A and D2B, because i don't know the third type of chipset,Now shut up as we hole ourselves in our room trying to make it work without you guys complaining and lowering our review scores.

i'm no programmer, but how could the update take so long, if it was ever coming at all?
i pay for and installed many wiikey because they were promised to have 'dvd update' feature
if all we can expect, at most, is a new config disc i am regretting supporting wiikey

can i flash wiikeys to a homebrew chip?

i think wiifree and/or wiip.

If I was a WiiKey programmer and I saw all those people complaining about my product and even stop others from buying it I won't even release an update just to show that you greedy bastards are just being spoiled.
I mean, you can play most games you want right now, you don't even pay anying at all, but you guys are STILL not happy with what you got.

Now I just hope that one of the WiiKey team reads this.

Wouldn't be funny if it was a typo and they meant June 15th. All that fire for nothing

"Wiikey update: ETA 1 week!" May 15th and June 15th don't fit in the same week...

What about if that 1 was suppose to be 5?

Yes, and that "!" was supposed to be a "s!"

Well, 1 weeks wouldn't make sense...

Sheesh, would you stop replying to my posts. I said "AND" which means add my suggestion to yours! *annoyed*

Think about it. My suggestion was actually correcting your screwed up suggestion.
