ROM Hack Pokemon GHSS impossible after 4th gym

I tried with both versions playing on No$GBA and used all sorts of piracy bypass code and patch, but the game is more or less impossible to continue after you beat the fourth gym.

Why?

Because after saving and loading a file, you will get image crash error, thus rendering it impossible to continue with your save file. Is there really no way to get around this?

Out of curiosity, has anyone even gotten that farther than this using the emulator?

this IS an issue with people emulating it with no$gba.

well there really isn't anything you can do. However, i hear that many have gotten far using Kazo's patch. If i recall well, it has the optimal settings for No$gba in the thread. Make sure your using those respective settings.

I too have had this problem, which as TC said in another thread started right after I beat gym 4.

I have tried it with different combinations of roms and patches but none of it works.

edit: using NO$GBA 2.6 instead of 2.6a appears to have stopped the crash

I used Kazo's patch, and it still end up that way. But now I'll try 2.6 and see if it will work.

EDIT: Nope, even 2.6 won't help...

I'm having the same problem in the same city before the badge. (Ecruteak)

I don't know why it crashes though....

Edit: That didn't work....After beating Morty the Game crashes just after I enter the save

I also have this problem, about to try No$GBA 2.6 and Kazo's patch, I'll tell you guys how if it works.

Same problem with Kazo's patch.

No$GBA 2.6 = blue screen that tells you the save doesnt work.

mine also using kazo's patch and crashed when i went out from lt.surge gym
I don't know whether the patch is the problem or it's the No$gba it self @.@

I fixed the problem for my friend, u just have to dump the bios and use no$zoomer with no$gba 2.6a

using raqib12 patch 4.5

I found on Youtube some BIOS file that allowed the game to be played with no problem, even Mario and Luigi 3!

This is happening to me to. Right around the fourth gym it just crashes for no reason whatsoever.

What I have tried (none work):
No$Zoomer
Pokefix
One translation patch
Rudolph's translation and anti-piracy patch
