Since the old Sakura Suggestion Thread was not very organized and wasn't getting seen by the g6team, i decided to make a new one. Here is everythng that was suggested on the old thread:

Feature Suggestions
1) An option so that you can only start/open something by sliding it and not just tapping it.

2) Make the little \"M3 Sakura\" movie when your boot up customizable.

3) Allow for scrolling in the recently used and applications list.

4) Be able to choose m3sakura in the DS menu

5) An option to totally disable triggers(L and R) when playing music

6) mp3 jacket image support

7) E-book mode for text viewer(so the text appears like in a book)(DSReader has it)

8) Be able to play mp3 and read txt/view pics at the same time

9) An option to disable buttons when the lid is closed.

10) Favorite Games (like in iTouchDS)

11) Ability to switch between Sakura and Touchpod from within the OS (without pressing A button during startup)

12) Better homebrew support in Sakura (as good as R4 or at least as good as Touchpod)

13) Wii to Ds Linkage (G6 has it so why can\'t M3i Zero?)

14) The recently used apps/games screen shouldn\'t display apps from the launchpad

15) Make the launchpad able to show more than five things

16) The option to Backup your save file to 1 or 2 or erase the current save file

17) L & R Buttons function to \"prev\" and \"next\" image in the \"Image Viewer\"

18) Be able to deselect a GBA/NDS Linked game

19) File options (e.g. copy, paste, move...)(Acekard has it)

20) An option in the RTS menu to change the screen brightness without turning off the console(Cyclo has it)

21) A nicer GUI for the RTS menu and been able to use the touchscreen in it.

22) Be able to hide folders from within the OS

23) Have an option to start in a folder of your choosing when you boot up in Sakura. (Of course it\'s just an option so you\'d still be able to boot and start in the folder you were last at).

24) Change the date and time in Sakura.

25) Be able to edit text files in Sakura (instead of just viewing).

26) Have a built in homebrew viewer/runner/organizer. (Kind of like dskiosk but built into Sakura)

27) See/sort games by ROM Header/ Internal Name (probably the only cart that can't at least see the header when you scroll to the game in the file list)

30) Support for more audio files (mp3, wav, mp4, midi, ...)

31)multi-user support (so if i shared a cart with my sister we could both play the same game with different sav files)(e.g. if i log in as XXX the game NDSGAME.nds would use NDSGAMEXXX.sav as it sav file but if i log in as XYX the NDSGAME.nds would use NDSGAMEXYX.sav as it\'s sav file)

32) Possibility to \'tag\' roms, and to browse and search them based on their tags.

33) Support for gbaframe.bmp or a gba frame in the skin (or GBA rom specific borders so if you titled your game XXYZ.gba and you had file named XXYZ.bmp it would use the bmp as a border)(probably the only cart that doesn't have this)

34) The option to use an alternate sav file location (e.g. put sav files in a folder titled sav files so we can put more games in each folder and it would make it easier to back up our sav files on the computer)(Cyclo has it)(maybe do this for cht, RTS, and opt files and Walkthroughs too)

35) Automatic or firmare-integrated (in the menu) cheat-update and system file update function (download and install cheats.gbatemp.net/latest/cheats.db.zip or whatever the cheat file is)(kind of like USRCheatup and OSup built into Sakura)

36) An option in the photo viewer to exit with the touchscreen (not only with the B button)

37) Make the already available buttons for the photo viewer bigger (they are hard to see)

38) Put all the Real-Time options (Real-Time Save, Load Real-Time Save, Soft Reset, Real-Time Guide, [hopefully sometime in the future] Real-time Cheat, ...) in one big menu like on the CycloDS (more convenient that way so you only need to remember one button combo to acces all Real-Time features)

39) Add the ability to use different font files like on the Acekard (this might be included already but i have no idea)

40) Use Slow-Mo With RTS on Sakura (currently only possible in touchpod)

41) Select All and Select None buttons on the cheat list (like R4 had)

42) Be able to fake DSi Language Options (so if someone's DSi did not support a certain language, the games would still play in that language)

43) Real-Time Cheat Editing (turning individual cheats on and off in the middle of a game)(Supercard has it)

44) Be able to support at least the DS part of DSi Enhanced games

45) Add the ability to download walkthroughs for games either while scrolling the game list or in game

46) Allow for Sakura style scrolling in the RTG

47) Auto/rapidfire buttons

48) An option to turn off the system after play all music(Moonshell has it)

49) Add a Cover preview to see the MP3 cover

50) A Bookmark for the RT Guide

51) The option to have an "icon wall" on the application tab and the game list(like on the itouch)

52) A "find" feature in RTG

53) music auto-play to be like in Moonshell 2 ( When you play music, then load a Rom and reset the ds, the music continues where you left it)

54) Show GBA games in recently played list

Features Suggested Here That Were Added

1) In-game text reader (maybe even with color text and picture support like the M3i SDHC[EZVi Clone])(to compete with CycloDS and SupercardDSOne)

2) Add a \"Global Settings\" place in the menu so you can set settings like have RTS on all games without having to painstakingly set them for each and every game especially if they have 100 or so games)(come on seriously you put it on your budget card but not on your really good one!?!)

Bugs Noticed That Need Fixing

1) Fix the total time read of MP3, some shows incorrect time

Bugs Pointed Out Here That Were Fixed

Suggestions That Don't Really Fit These Categories

1) Change the "Random" Mode to "Shuffle" Mode(only play each song 1 time)

2) Changing font in RT Guide

3) The ability to word wrap the words in the RT Guide

please post here if you have any other ideas so i can add them or recognize something in this list that has already been added so i can move it to the already added list

Elix is right.. make space and make the letter a little bit larger because I couldn't be bothered reading it for it is too crowded..
Just a suggestion though, remember that I am also a reader and does not have much background information about this matter..

email them or post this in their official forum
www.m3iforum.com
although, I don't think either one will make any difference AS In they won't .... .... .... .....

I know these aren't all your suggestions, but I just want to point out the ones that probably aren't really needed.

1) An option so that you can only start/open something by sliding it and not just tapping it.
If I'm not mistaken I believe this has always been possible.
EDIT: I see what this means now. This is talking about disabling the opening of ROMs/homebrew by tapping. I would have to agree with this one, since it's possible to accidentally load a ROM when you tap it while scrolling up and down the list.

3) Allow for scrolling in the recently used and applications list.
If you had any more than 5 recently used items on the list, then the ones near the bottom couldn't really be called "recently used" anymore. This would defeat the point of a "recently used" list.

4) Make it so your can slide like normally in the recently used and application list.
I probably wouldn't put this at the top of my priorities.

14) Ability to switch between Sakura and Touchpod from within the OS (without pressing A button during startup)
I would just ask for better homebrew support in Sakura and remove Touchpod from the firmware altogether.

17) The recently used apps/games screen shouldn\'t display apps from the launchpad
Why not?

18) Make the launchpad able to show more than five things
See #3.

33) Password-protected multi-user support (need a password to log in to each account so if i shared a cart with my sister we could both play the same game with different sav files and she can\'t sabatoge my savs)(e.g. if i log in as XXX the game NDSGAME.nds would use NDSGAMEXXX.sav as it sav file but if i log in as XYX the NDSGAME.nds would use NDSGAMEXYX.sav as it\'s sav file)
I don't know much about how the firmware is built, but this sounds a little too sophisticated. Would it be unfeasible to just have two MicroSD cards, and you just take your own card out of the flashcart and have your sister insert her card whenever she wanted to play? Or better yet, each person could have their own flashcart/MicroSD combo.

37) An automatic or firmare-integrated (in the menu) cheat-update function (download and install cheats.gbatemp.net/latest/cheats.db.zip or whatever the cheat file is)
This would be nice, but I doubt the DS would be capable of extracting the cheat file from the zip archive. The database would have to be uploaded to cheats.gbatemp.net in its uncompressed format.

39) Make the already available buttons bigger (they are hard to see)
There are already issues with trying to fit the entire GUI on the DS screen as it is. I'm not sure how they can make things any bigger and still manage to fit everything on the screen.
I would love to see all of the other suggestions implemented though.

it would be if you had dscompress built in. after all, dscompress works pretty good at (de)compression on the ds it is just kinda slow, but it would still be worth it

i can live without any of the previous mentioned but this... i could live way better with this... (can be a tip for homebrew builders as well)

42) Transfere files over wifi to other cards and or PC (games, saves, cheats etc etc )

no contact errors, no spring failled, could implement built in memory, no take out flash take out card put card on reader, pc, and then the same thing for the other card... bah. its lame for our time.

I don't get it. Number 42 says wifi, then you go on about G6 (Built in memory. 512megabyte though) and hardware errors?

well, if you start your other brain cells (

) you might think that we remove the card mostly to put/take something of the MicroSD or update the card. Doing that destroys the connectors, making their life time decrease (contact or harware erros). If we could access the card OR built in memory without having to take the card out, the connectors wound suffer so much and the time consuming operation of removing a card just to put one or 2 games would also decrease significantly.
For homebrew developers is a great possibility to make your name come out.
For card builders its a possibility to implement built in memory and earn some extra bucks (g6team or m3team or whatever), realeasing more versions of the same product. Ok i think you got the wrong idea here, when i said built in memory i didnt mean the uControler built in memory, i meant some 4-8 Gb flash maybe , instead of the card reader, etc etc.. they could play with these options and release more models earning some extra $ with it, I think, but i dont have a PhD in managment :\ almost every house that sells the cards has some hot deals on card+memory...

oh well, hope i enlightened you.

ps: oh oh not to mention the possibility to tranfer games and saves over the "air" between 2 nintendos without having to put the file on a computer or PDA ...

^not gonna happen ds only has 15kbps internet speeds can you imagine transferring a game with that kind of speed (2 hours for a 20mb game in a rar)

Alot of these suggestions are minor and irrelevant to me, but I do support In-Game text reader like Cyclo has, and what Densetsu said about Touchpod. Remove touchpod completely, and improve homebrew support.

I second this!

One inprovement I could think of is word-wrapping text when selecting cheat. Especially cheats that have warnings, or needed instructions in order to work properly.
