Now that I made this topic on the PSP I realized my DS isn't too entertaining now. What good games are coming out? Scribblenauts? CORE?(not interested in that any more.. it'll be like Duke Nukem Forever)

2-3 games is not enough for me to hang on to my DS

You like RPGs?

The Another World/ Ni no Kuni - RPG - J release TBA 2009, U release TBA
Golden Sun DS - RPG - J/U release 2010
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 - ARPG - J released, U release September 29
Shin Megami Tensei - SRPG/RPG - J released, U release 06/23
Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled - RPG - U release 06/23
Dragon Quest IX - RPG - J release July, U release TBA
Infinite Space - Spaceship SRPG - Supposedly J released, U release TBA
Bleach: The 3rd Phantom - SRPG - J released (Noitora also made a patch it seems), U release September
Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans - RPG - J released (as Dragon Ball Kai), Eu rlease Autumn
Inazuma Eleven 2 - Sports/RPG - J release 10/1
Nanashi no Game 2 - RPG/Horror/Platformer - J release 08/27 (according to Gamefaq, which may just be shitting)
Blood of Bahamut - ARPG - J release 8/6
Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver - RPG - J release Fall 2009
SAGA 2: Goddess of Destiny - RPG - J release Fall 2009
Super Robot Gakuen - SRPG - J release TBA
Nostalgia - RPG - J released (as Kaze no Nostalgeo), U release Spetember 2009

And like you mentioned, Scribblenauts.

Then.... theres Zelda, Megaman Starforce 3 and Drawn to Life: The NExt Chapter (I thought the concept was great though gameplay wasn't as good... they seem to have improved on the formula and etc.). Theres really many good games coming out. It just matters if you want to wait or not.

No and yes

No for selling it for cash or another system and yes for selling for cash for a DSi.

Diversify yourself and try some Japanese games that are not going to be released in the US. It's pretty much my lifeline for my DS and without them I would be in your predicament years ago. You can ask around for good import games if you aren't sure on what you want.

Do what you want with it. Do you really need us to tell you if YOU will enjoy it still? And why would you have to get rid of it, period? Even if something doesn't come out ever again that appeals to you, it doesn't mean older games still aren't playable.

For things coming out, I'm currently anticipating Devil Survivor, Golden Sun DS, Dragon Quest IX, Mario and Luigi 3, Pokemon Gold/Silver, and Black Sigil. Good stuff if you're into rpgs, if not, I have no idea what's lined up.

We also get Dementium 2, Zelda Spirit Tracks, KH 358/2 Days English, and you said Scribblenauts which will be more awesome than any PSP release...

And i'll like to add on....

The DS version of the Ghostbusters will get to drive the Ecto-01

. Then theres the COP the recruit which IMO doesn't look good but may be alright. Oh and Lego Battles looks like it can be a promising RTS.

And then there will never be the Nintendo games on the PSP, and Nintendo has been making some good games. And the Majesco's Mama franchise since touch screen is what makes it fun. And pretty much most other games that use the touch screen.

hmm... so you've been convinced to keep your PSP... have you been convinced to keep your DS yet?

any more 'should i sell my xxx?'
no i am not talking about your porn. lol.

sometime I have the same feeling with you as well.
but ,I suggest you keep your DS. I think there will be many new game will relaease (Zeldar) in future.

My response to these (jillion) type posts is always thus: Yes. If you have to ask, the answer is always yes. Sell it. Those of us who own a DS (whatever iteration) know why we love it and know why we'll never get rid of them. Those who have to ask "why?" aren't doing themselves any favors holding onto it. Best to check out the Zoon.

if for no other reason than this - looking forward to zeldar - DO NOT SELL YOUR DS.

i am tempted to start a thread about, like, should i let my kid "cry it out" at night. or, should i go back to school and get my teacher's certificate and become a teacher. you know, let the community decide my fate for me.

I can't imagine why you'd sell your ds. If you only think there are three good games out there, then you either have horrible taste in games or you haven't bothered looking at all.

If you're bore of it then sell it.

I love playing all the older games and newer ones.

New releases hopefulyl coming this year or next:

Zelda: ST
Kingdom Hearts DS (English)
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (English)
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: EoS
Professor Layton & The Diabolical Box
Scribblenauts
Pokémon SS/HG

If you aren't looking forward to any of them, and you don't like RPG's then you may aswell sell it

The only one of those I'm looking forward to is scribblenauts, and there's no way I'd sell my ds.

1. You've gotta really be hurting for cash to need the paltry sum of money you'd make from selling it.
2. if you don't have a flash card, get one immediately
3. There are so many really fun little games that slip in under the radar on an almost weekly basis for the DS. You're just not looking
You've gotta be able to look past all the nintendo franchises. Forget the marios and the zeldas and the pokemans. The best games on the ds have nothing to do with any of those things.

I'm always surprised with these kind of posts... have you really played all fun games for the DS? It will take me ages to play and finish all games I like. My DS will probably die on me before I will be bored. I am playing trackmania almost daily now and I'm sure it will still take me more than a month to finalise this game (if I will ever get to that point..)

Most important:
Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth will be released in Winter 2009/January 2010.
You don't want to miss it.

There are tons of great DS games already out, and Im sure you haven't played ALL of them. There are also many good games coming out. If you feel like you should sell your DS, then by all means do it. I think it's the best hand-held ever, and although it doesn't compare to the PSP in terms of graphics, the games are much better in terms of gameplay.

NO NO NO dont ever sell your ds unless your getting a upgrade of it or something because the ds is awsome and you know it ha!

Yeah, sell it. That way you'll understand how much you like it, even if you don't have nothing to play ATM, and regret you sold it. But if you want to save yourself some moaning and groaning in the near future, keep it. You'll get something you want to play, eventually.
