I managed to fix the voting channel by deleting it and redownloading it but since the news and weather channels cant be deleted im stuck with them not updating...

thats not really a problem though, the only channel i really care about is the internet one and that isnt storing any cookies so im forced to type in my username and password on almost every site i visit... i've already tried deleting the channel and redownloading it but that hasnt made any difference, can anyone help? i'd be sooo sooo sooo sooo grateful

thx.

so theres no way to fix it other than Formatting the memory? (which might not even work and cos me all my VC games)

Did you bother doing any of the battery stuff? The person who modded my wii didn't know about the 24connect issue and I only found out after he'd modded it! oppsie. I can't take my wii apart to play with the battery myself (I suffer from blondness). I shall have to try a simple format.

glad i can help

, did you get your VC games and internet channels back? i know it's very annoying that some save data won't copy over to a SD card
frown.gif

Yep... I just had to redownload the games and the internet channel

As for save files every wii game (aside from elebits) saved without a problem, the annoying part was putting the games back onto the console... it says you have to play the game before you can copy the data back onto the wii, so that meant i had to put in every game i own (33 in total) start them up, go back to the wii menu and then copy the save file back over

And all my Mii data is gone so i have to start all over again on Wii Sports/Wii Play

LOL at suffering from blondness

nah, i didnt have to take the battery out... thank god, cos i didnt mod it myself

Lol, Did you ever think that the weather service might be "down" Which im pretty sure it was yesterday at a certain time of the day, ive seen that before sometimes its unavailible usually fine later on .

ooooh, that must hurt having to loose all those miis, i have the max you can have, that would really annoy me if that happened to me, i wish there was a way to backup your miis aswell, and that's quite annoying about the game saves aswell, how did you managed to download the internet channel again as you have to pay for it if you delete the internet channel from your wii?

i didnt actually loose my mii, i backed them up onto the wiimote, they all look the same as normal but their wii play/wii sports data is erased... you can only save 10 mii's per wiimote though so for you to backup your mii's you'd need like 10 remotes
wtf.gif

and you only have to pay for the internet channel is you didnt download it when it was free... so they're basically just charging new owners... still its only 500 points

man that really sucks, why won't they just let you backup you miis to a SD card as i don't have 10 wiimotes
frown.gif
and right i get it about the internet channel, so it will always be in the shop channel forever even if you format the internet channel from you Wii.

i dont know why you can put wii's on a sd card... theres no REAL reason

and yea everything you download in the shop is yours forever (unless you break your wii or clear the data in the shop channel)
