While I agree a switch port would be nice, newo just wants to make a Wii homebrew game. If YOU can code in C and have a hacked switch, maybe you could fork it and port it yourself if the source code ever becomes available.
@eyeliner @jeffyTheHomebrewer Are there people making homebrew games for the switch? Other than ports and emulators. It's seems that more power reduces the desire to do custom homebrew. Not really sure why.
The code for the game is ever evolving but its a simple game (though it looks complicated). The problem is not enough people can or are interested in coding in a rudamentry language like C. You could probably code it in unity in a month but in C it might take a year. Though C would be more fun.

It does take a bit of time to transition from 1 system to the next. Especially the systems that are not backwards compatible. But if you check the NES scene there are a bunch of projects. Lots of pico8 stuff. Some N64 stuff like a portal demake.

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
