Creating channels via UWUVCI (multiple questions)

I have several questions:

1 - Can I use the same base rom for multiple games? OR will it delete/mess with the first rom?

2A - I used UWUVCI to create folders/files from a GBA rom and installed it as a channel
2B - Since the GBA rom is now a channel, can I safely delete the files from the SDC that were created by UWUVCI or do I need those files for the channel to work?

Just to clarify. I CAN use the base files and I delete the files from the SDC? Correct?
