Safelly format a hacked Wii U

I want to format my Wii U, but I know that hacked ones can brick when formatting, is there a safe way to do it? (PS: I want to know the ways for all hacks, since idk what will be the hack of the Wii U i will get)

To keep it short:

Only CBHC relies on a bootable NAND game to exploit.
Formatting deletes that game and bricks the console..........

Tiramisu won't break, haxchi would break, and CBHC will brick.
