I've seen a bunch of posts asking to go in the opposite direction, but I'm looking to actually create switch demo consoles as they are in the stores. I have two Switch kiosks, looking to make 5 consoles total if possible. Anyone have any resources or direction I could follow? I've seen the demos from these consoles on archive.org, with what looks to be the menu. Can you just install this on a hacked switch, do you need to blow the fuse to make it an official demo console? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Pics of the two types of kiosks I have for clarity.

It's the NSP floating around the net named "Retail Interactive Display Menu KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox", but I don't know the proper way of how to run it with CFW.

Also, Kiosk unit also have some pre-installed KIOSK (Trial/Demo) games, like these:
  • Sushi Striker The Way of Sushido KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • Snipperclips Plus KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • Mega Man 11 KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • Captain Toad Treasure Tracker KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • ARMS KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • Fire Emblem Warriors KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • Kirby Star Allies KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • Yoshis Crafted World KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • Super Mario Party KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • Mario Tennis Aces KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox=DEMO=
  • Super Mario Odyssey KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
  • The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild KIOSK eShop INTERNAL NSW-BigBlueBox
The aforementioned dumps are also available in some dark places of the Net, preview.

Yea I've got all the demos, with the PS4/Xbox One or earlier generations it was easier to make a demo console for kiosks. The new ones seem to require hacking from what I've seen without using the tablet to setup the install.

In the thread for using kiosk consoles as normal ones, there's a modified version of atmosphere that fakes the result of the fuse check to appear to be retail. Presumably you could change the value returned to the opposite (in the modified source code, and build your own atmosphere binaries), so it fakes it to appear as a kiosk. Apparently this fuse check is what determines whether Horizon loads the kiosk menu, so as long as you've got that nsp installed then hopefully it may work, as long as nothing else about having atmosphere running breaks the kiosk software.

is this a theme or is this actually what the kiosk version looks like?
Or am i missunderstanding something? They talk about something with a raspberry pi? Hows that related to a kiosk unit?

On the full standing kiosks it has a touch display on the bottom left run by a pi, that is this picture you have. It plays videos, there are also actual switches that have demos on them to play in store. It looks like this

Interesting, so those display units may just run kodi with a theme installed?
And the switches actually run a locked down version of the horizon os with some demos and a different theme installed? or is it a completly different os that we have on retail switches? some people talk about a fuse being different so we could technically force the demo mode and install other stuff to it?

Its hella cool because an "official theme" with boxart icons would be sick af

But how do I modify it? And what do I modify it with?

U need the nsps for the videos, otherwise they will not show any games.
