Updating a game on a emunand

Hi ! So, can i update my game normally or is there another way to do it. For more precision, i dont have tinfold, i have a emunand theme and mods and i dont want to install game for free.
I am new in homebrew so i'm not sure of what to do.

You have few options, you can use tinfoil to do the game update, or find the update only, or system match with another system that has the game update, but require matching system firmware.
