I tried downloading the release and putting the re3 and re3stereo .3dsx files in the /3ds folder on my SD card, but when I tried running it, I got a luma 3ds crash. Then I tried putting them in their own folder, /3ds/re3 and it still did this. I also tried doing the same for the reVC, and it kept crashing. Also, the Homebrew launcher wasn't recognizing the files, and they had a question mark on them. I know that it works because I've seen someone else get it running irl and I'm pretty sure they just put the 2 3dsx files in the 3ds folder. I don't think my SD card is corrupted either.

Would someone please tell me a step by step tutorial?
I'm kinda dumb...
Obviously you need the game file, whatever format it reads, you might need to convert it or not. If it's just the standard .bin & .cue files, then they should be put in some roms folder, its location can vary depending on the emulator you're using..
And do not ask about where you can get the game files as it's piracy and against the rules. Just to be clear.
