Your problem may be you started your search too late, when you have more than 255 coins. You may want to check this out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endianness. I am no historian but it looks like the endianness is different for the original CPU for this game. So instead of 0xF423F being 999999 you have 0x3F420F00. When you have more than 255 coins your search would be wrong unless you make the conversion first.
You probably don't need to use pointer, there is a good chance that the address will remain static as it is in main.
The code that access the memory is like this

My speculation is X8 is the pointer pointing to the emulated memory base address and X9 is the offset from that base.

Most of the time exfat will corrupt but don't affect the game installation, but give it enough time you will be able to end up using the corrupted part for game installation and there you will have a very good time scratching you head as nobody else have the problem you experienced and were merrily playing the same game that you were not able to get to work.
I can't comment on SX but if you are on atmosphere changing to fat32 is very easy and will just take a few minutes.
1. Do a backup of your emunand (if you worry about making a mistake and wipe it)
2. Copy the content of your exfat partition to a backup device.
3. Use hekate to format the exfat area to fat32. Making sure you don't wipe your emunand partition.
4. Copy back the content your save in step 2.
5. Happily ever after.

so i kept finding and use only cheat that work with edizon so after put it in and rename the BID to my BID.. and TADA!! it's work

This game is classic what you see is what you search. You search for the full hearts you have and you will find it easy.
The only thing that may throw people off track is the fraction heart is another value. Many games the value include fraction heart but not this one.

In brotherhood it seemed more direct. Like there was a "god of alchemy that" one met. And it liked humbling people -
