It's the write width, meaning you only write 2 bytes or you write 4 bytes. You need to know what you need.

What ADRP does is to take the address of the instruction, ignoring the last three digit and add an offset you specify. You add the last three digit when you use the register. I use a spreadsheet to calculate the required offset and the add. You may want to look into Eiffel’s script which should be a more direct way to do it.
As to where to hack the ASM it can depend greatly on how the code is written. If you see a large offset when the code access the memory then you say thank you very much and normally can just use that. If you see just a register with no offset or a small offset there is much more work to be done. It probably is a shared code and you need a way to tell when your target is the one being accessed. If you can not find a pattern to use you have to do a pointer search to regress to a code that is unique to the target.
Using cheatVM to hack instead of a ASM code has the advantage of not needing to find a game code that always run when you want the hack to happen. For example the game code that only run when you are on the ground may be easier use than the one in the air so you use that code to give you the address and use cheatVM to hack it

Have no idea who might be B2. You may want to search around this forum for a code that the author may still want to support.
Ok, here's an update:
Apparently the previous build for the game (7253A3BBE715D092) has codes for having 999 Coins at the end of each stage, and they work for the current build. Here are the codes by BlackDeath:

So, I guess that is one less code to wait on. Though I would update the current build list to reflect this.
