Hi everyone,

So I am having this weird issue with loading .pbp files on the PCSX ReARMed core for Retroarch. I am able to load .chd files without issues but I just feel too lazy to make .cue files for all the .bins and afterwards compress them to .chd. So I would rather just use them eboots. However, PCSX crashed when loading any .pbp eboot file.

I appreciate any help!

System: New 2DS XL with Luma3DS 10.2.21
Retroarch version: Nightly downloaded yesterday
PCSX version: ReARMed 1.10.0
Bios files: scph5500.bin, scph5501.bin, scph5502.bin

Whenever I try loading a .pbp in PCSX core I get the following screen:

You are using a nightly? Try using a Stable release instead. Also, since (for me at least) Retroarch takes a long time to boot, I suggest looking at PSX2PSP https://psp.brewology.com/downloads/download.php?id=9697 to convert BIN + CUE to Eboot.pbp
and this tool to create .cia from the eboot.pbps: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-ps1-forwarder-creator.550175/
Thanks for the reply. Well the reason I am using nightly is that the stable version was unable to load anything at all. So I read a post recommending using nightly and then it worked with .chd! Except for .pbp. But I guess that I can convert to cia instead then or just use .chd. I was just a bit curious as to why .pbp was not supported :) Thanks again!
