@Gamerjin , sorry for inf.missile in Metroid Dread do you always have to search for the code with float?
I found one for infinite missile - HEAP + 0x003C13C380 so I put 999 and frozen the value.
and other one - HEAP + 0x004D587300 so this game just dropped to 998, so it went down to 996 then rebound to 998.
er....missile and powerbombs DO require a pointer for them, as i have seen them change addresses after key events.

Could you kindly explain how to find pointer with Edizon SE,because i haven't figured it out yet, thanks in advance!

yeah, about that, im not on version 2.0.0.
plus, i havent found a stable pointer for them(missile and powerbomb).
for that, you'll have to wait for @crazy_p 's cheat file. so far his pointers have worked for me.

Add to bookmarks, they zl + y choose settings, depth, source etc and leave to search, then change levels or restart game and keep checking which bookmarks show valid by pressing zl + - which refreshes the bookmarks and will remove any that are invalid and search in bookmarks for the value etc, when you've done that about 10 times if you have any bookmarks left, then they are your working ones.

Good luck

wondering if anyone can help assist me with making a cheat code for shadow man remastered.

i've never made a moon jump code before (other than DK64 using PJ64 many years ago), but I have been trying for days now and get nothing, I have tried the usual methods doing unknown search when on the ground, then as you jump do greater than, then less than as your falling back down and tried vice versa.

I have tried doing the same while on the ground and moving higher up and then going lower down, I have tried while on the ground then when hanging off a higher ledge and nothing.

@TomSwitch can it be possible to add support when starting a search if you know the value to start with, then when it changes you dont know the value to then perform the next search as different than, or greater/less than

when I try doing a search like this if i know the starting value, then change, the next scan as an unknown type will say it cant find no value changed.

also lately as i am making a lot of bookmarks because i am away from my computer, so i can add book mark to then add it as a cheat code to my list, i am accidently hitting - by mistake instead of +, because i am that used to hitting - to delete bookmarks once i have added it as a cheat code.

would be very helpful and i think to others too, if you could put a prompt message if you accidently press - in your code search results to say something like are you sure you wish to cancel your current scan and press A to confirm, because performing unknown searches can take a long time and to accidently hit - and delete your scan results is a nightmare.

or if scan results can be a different colour?

it was very helpful adding the option to have B button to go BACK, as before you was kind of like ohh well this is how its been for ages, its not going to change because people are used to how it is.

and i know you do this as a project for fun, we all think the work you do is amazing, maybe one day possibly option to undo your last scan as that too can sometimes get a little ?? with multiple button commands compared to an on screen interface with options you have to click on.

Ive had to strart using breeze too while away from home with no computer and its great for been able to add codes in edizion then able to edit that cheat in breeze and add new codes, but that sometimes i find can be a little tricky at times.

having your left stick control the right side options when youd assume left stick to navigate up/down your cheats with it been on the left side, but thats your d pad which is rarely used in games to move.

then sometimes you confuse the right stick thinking it would navigate whats on the right side but it does certain things like copy/paste ect.

would be handy if left stick navigated your cheat list on the left and have d pad to navigate the menu on the right but have it set to press A on each box command to perform its function.

paste/duplicate would be nice if it can be set as a copy/paste so if you have an address further up in your cheat list, you can copy it and paste it at the end of your list because you could find say inventory items use a similar address as a different address you later find that is for something else.

but you want to keep your cheat list tidy so everything is allocated and filed where it belongs like slot 1, slot 2, then find near slot 1 address is a completely different cheat.

anyways, hope you consider the input at any time you plan adding anything new, just a friendly suggestions.

my main focus at the moment is trying to get shadow man moon jump code, tho its not really needed with the god mode save you are invincible to lava.

i am also trying to find a play as mod but as i know the default value for shadow man, i dont know the value for mike or the other playable skins you get as secret cheats (so having the option to start a known search then perform an unkown range would be handy for things like this)

Moonjump has it's own Preset in Edizon-SE (R3 in the Search Screen).
That's always the First Cheat i'm looking for...

Basicly this is how it works (in most Games):

You will need the Cheat / Function that Freezes your actual Game.
(Works in all Games since it's Part of AMS Cheat VM)

1. Stop the Game while you Jump (Rise)
2. Search either for a Positive or Negative Value (Range Float 0.0001 - 2000 / -0.0001 - -2000)
(Use the R Button to negate the Value)
3. Stop the Game while you Fall (Descend)
4. Search the opposite Value (If you searched Positive before search Negative)
(Use the R Button to negate the Value)
5. Repeat Step 1 - 4
6. If you only have a few Results left, freeze ALL Results while you Jump (Rise)
7. See if you're constantly Rising (If not do the opposite (If you searched Positive for Rise, search Negative))
8. Unfreeze one Result after another until you Fall (The one that makes you Fall again is Moonjump)
9. Look at the Value while you Jump as reference to find the optimal Rising Speed
(Adjust the Value if you think it's too Slow or Fast)
10. Search the Pointer and Repeat the Process (To Speed Up the Process adjust the Range since you already know the Value)

I'm not sure if this will help you with Shadow Man Remastered because it's an old Game...
(It is possible that you're looking for an Integer instead of a Float Value)

Good Luck!

have you look at gamehacking.org original shadowman codes to kinda get an idea of what to look for? there is a levitate code , which is akin to moonjump.

we have already established that Speedfly or Kaito B AMS cheats for missiles was the best way to use those type of cheats, i remember Optantic Pointers for missiles worked throughout all the bosses

yea i usually look at other codes of the game but this isnt the n64 version its the DC/PC version they ported over and its slightly different to the N64 in that addresses are not located in the same areas or have same values.

i have to play the game to get to the locations to warp and the gads, n64 was easy as it was just 0/1s but items for DC/PC and switch for items is 1/2/3 1=left hand, 2= right hand, 3 have item, so not sure if warp locations be the same.

been trying unknown search but i end up getting the address to load game slot x if you load slot 1.

kinda why it would be handy to start a know value of 0 then use different than but it says no value change found.

but i will use the built in freeze command and do my scan when i know exactly the point i start to levitate then next scan when i know im falling.

then sometimes you confuse the right stick thinking it would navigate whats on the right side but it does certain things like copy/paste ect.

would be handy if left stick navigated your cheat list on the left and have d pad to navigate the menu on the right but have it set to press A on each box command to perform its function.

paste/duplicate would be nice if it can be set as a copy/paste so if you have an address further up in your cheat list, you can copy it and paste it at the end of your list because you could find say inventory items use a similar address as a different address you later find that is for something else.

but you want to keep your cheat list tidy so everything is allocated and filed where it belongs like slot 1, slot 2, then find near slot 1 address is a completely different cheat.

anyways, hope you consider the input at any time you plan adding anything new, just a friendly suggestions.

my main focus at the moment is trying to get shadow man moon jump code, tho its not really needed with the god mode save you are invincible to lava.

i am also trying to find a play as mod but as i know the default value for shadow man, i dont know the value for mike or the other playable skins you get as secret cheats (so having the option to start a known search then perform an unkown range would be handy for things like this)
There is no need to stick to the same kind of search. I removed that requirement when I put the short cuts in the search tab. ( all other settings are still locked as I didn’t change the code in other tab ). You can start the search with a known value. To do a unknown search you need previous value. Range search can be performed to get previous value. Bookmark screen has the title section in a different color.

I will think about adding undo.
