Is there any way to get the official Nintendo Switch Online emulators and games to play without an internet connection? Maybe I am missing something.

Yes you can. If you jave tinfoil and some of the tinfoil shops just search for it and download it

Yes but that is technically piracy / theft of service since you're supposed to subscribe for it. You can get legal emulators that are just as good in the homebrew app store. You will have to supply your own legal dumps, of course.

So it is worthless for CFW offline, huh ?
TBH I'd honestly avoid even touching Nintendo online exclusive stuff, in my opinion that would instantly send up a red flag if you're using it and don't have a subscription. even if in offline mode it could store a log file and send it to Nintendo if you ever connected online by accident.

Just use RetroArch, you can get all the same games, and it would be a lot safer.

Of course it would, you'd have to install it as an NSP so going online after isn't an option

It would only be through CFW as others mentioned. I use the SNES app just fine on emmu, but I never cared for online there anyways. I also always take out my SD card when I'm going through sysnand.

Online is not that great anyways, we'll all lose it the day the servers die sometime in the future anyways XD

Someone should make an app that can backup all the roms used in the nso emulators for use in retroarch tho :>

*Grumble* Virtual Console was so cool and they ditched it for a less than stellar subscription *grumble*

IKR, it's kinda BS, you need an expencive subscription to even use it. VC was 100% better.

Wish they'd make the emulators on switch free for anyone, and just charged us per game we want, instead of a subscription. But I think they did what they did by design, they don't want us to actually own the games this time.

Thanks but I am not newbies and I don't like RetroArch anyway. I like a standalone but I will stick with emulators for PC, thought. I don't care about on the go anyway.

I know but too risk. Mine is remain unbanned and had a Nintendo Account before Nintendo Switch released but I no longer used Nintendo Account before Nintendo Switch existed.
There is no risk using a Fake Nintendo Account on CFW, don't understand the rest of your post.

I don't understand your post so something is wrong with you so I will remain with mine unban and on the safe side . You are not professional. No, thank you.

I'm fairly certain anyone can understand the words "yes it does work." If you're trying to say people will get banned by pirating games, this is not the thread for that.

You are not professional.
What I am is correct. Reminder on OP's question:

The answer is yes, you can get the NSO emulators if you know where to look online. They have been patched to work offline and install just like any other game using Tinfoil. If the app nags about needing a Nintendo account it can spoofed using Link option in Tinfoil.
