I was wondering if certain games that currently don't work with DS VC Injection to fix them and get them to work. The two games I desperately want on my Wii U are Okamiden and Super Princess Peach. According to the wiki section for this and from my testing, Okamiden's touch screen doesn't work and Super Princess Peach boots to a White Screen. https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/WiiU_VC_NDS_injection

Maybe i could see if this is possible, there are many different games to inject into so it may be possible with the right base game.
What i can really say for completely Incompatible games are DSiWare (of course) and NDSi Enhanced games, which are not bootable at all.
Oh yeah, and for that injection list youre using i highly recommend you use this Injection list (https://gbatemp.net/threads/new-wii-u-nds-injection-compatibility-list.605592/) since its more updated and includes games that arent on the GBATempWiki Link.

Are there any ideas for what games could be good for Super Princess Peach to be injected into without White screening the Wii U? Is there a technical explanation for this?

Well i dont know about which game could be best for Injecting it into, since they seem pretty much normal games without any gimmicks (Such as the NAND Chip or something like that), so it may either be sheer luck or some unknown gimmick from one of the VC Games that i dont know about.
Oh yeah, and that technical explanation is actually fairly simple if we dont go very deep, the game simply isnt compatible with the Emulator due to a lack of time.

While I second fixing Super Princess Peach if possible, I’m also interested if it’s possible to add mic compatibility since some games like Brain Age support it but then Mario & Sonic requires it to get past a certain area in the story but it’s not recognized.

I believe it could be possible to add Mic support to VC Injects, although it may be either an entirely different part of the code for the VC Injects, or some other file in the VC Games. Maybe i could see if theres any files that use Mic code for any of the VC Games that support it (if theres any that do)

I literally just found this after running into this same issue with Okamiden. I think it still hasn't been fixed or even has a fix

you cant fix the emulator since there is no source code available to modify, since its a nintendo emulator we have no acess to the code before being compiled so fixing anything is near impossible, you might be lucky if you keep injecting the game in all the ds vc releases and one inject might work or not, but fixing it its extremely hard since again no source code.

It's a shame those gigaleaks weren't more fruitful in this regard. Were the correct files in any of those leaks, we might have been able to alter some of their official emulators used in systems like the Wii U.

afaik those emulators are no made by nintendo but other companys so the nintendo leak would never include them, you would need a leak from m2 or other company that nintendo outsourced to do these emulators.

Man that is sad to hear. I was kinda hoping if it could be possible to patch the rom somehow instead of messing around with the emulator but I know nothing about that type of stuff

Still no update on this?
what update do you want? lol this is a closed source emulator by nintendo, so you cant fix what you cant compile... you would need someone to loose countless hours trying to reverse engineer the code, and by that point it would be easier to just port another emulator lol.
