I was updating my CFW/Firmware and when trying to inject hekate, nothing happens. The screen stays black and Tegra still says "RCM Ready" or whatever. The system will boot up normally (no CFW at all) but won't take payloads. What should I be looking for?

Make sure you have all new files.

100% new files from sdsetup
What are you using to inject your payload?

edit:

‘check the following…
  • Make sure yiur injector is fully charged. Might take a bit to get there.
  • Make sure USB port is clean. Isopropyl Alcohol and folded paper towel will work in a pinch,
  • Try switching cables. I’ve chased the cable dragon more than I care to admit.

Last edited by binkinator,
Try injecting a different payload to see if the file is the problem. Fusee or LockpickRCM, for instance. If they work, redownload your hekate payload file and try again. If they don't, do what @binkinator said. You'd be surprised how often cables are the problem.

@binkinator @Gep_Etto

So injecting fusee directly worked fine, system shows atmosphere 1.2.6. Same cable. For whatever reason, the hekate payload wouldn't inject.
Good call @Gep_Etto! Nailed it.

Well that’s good news (sorta)! At least we can eliminate the physical layer. A complete mystery why Hekate won’t work though…

Gonna have to try to redownload Hekate…maybe try a different version?

What file specifically are you injecting for “Hekate“?

Literally the hekate_ctcaer_5.7.0 from github. It worked one minute, didn't the next.
