Symlink in linux

Does anyone know how to create a symlink for llvm@9 in Debian? I installed it with brew. I think it went into the linuxbrew folder in home.

Not sure of source or destination path. I don't really know where llvm@9 and llvm11 downloaded or installed to.

example using brew on mac (mac in very similar to linux) let's say i want to sym link idk switch lan play (which i copied to home folder and want the symlink on Desktop so I do ln -s ~/lan-play ~/ Desktop (~/ means your current home folder both in MacOS and any linux distro)

it didn't work. I think you're supposed to symlink the folders, but I don't know that for sure. well, I don't know for sure it didn't work. I just know that the samples for openorbis still fail to compile. I read it's due to llvm11 not having a certain command for some reason, so I need to symlink an earlier version to the newer one.

I solved the problem, and the eboot.bin compiled. what about this?

it can't find this header file for some reason.
