Today I tried updating Atmosphere and now I can't boot into CFW. First I downloaded the latest Atmosphere release dropped it in the root of my SD card. I then removed the sept folder and fusee-secondary.bin from the atmosphere folder. After that I replaced the hekate_ipl.ini with one the referenced package3. Now I can't seem to boot into CFW, as fusee-primary.bin no longer works and the new fusee.bin just shows two Atmopshere splash screens then locks on a black screen until you hard reset. I've tried chainloading fusee.bin through Hekate as well but to no avail. Anybody have any ideas how to fix this? Also my SD is formatted as FAT32 if that matters.

so I dual booted my Switch and now have Linux and Atosphere but can I get some help, how do I make my Atmosphere swap back to Hekate payload so I can swap without shutting down the system? Does it have to do with my Hakate file in the bootloader/ini ? Heres mine. Can someone help me change it so it can work right (that is if its the reason it doesn't work)
Rename the latest hekate payload to reboot_to_payload.bin and replace the one inside the /atmosphere folder with that. Then whenever you perform the Restart function from the Power menu while in CFW, it will launch the reboot_to_payload.bin file
If I update my Atmosphere cfw partition to be on 13 will it mess with my carts format/ would I need to redo the entire dual booting process again? I'm asking because I don't want to lose anymore gigs on my card, I already lost almost 90 gigs and can't get them back (right now).
It shouldn't as your CFW supports firmware 13.X but if you're so worried about updating, then you don't need to update. No games require firmware 13.X and the only feature added is Bluetooth support.
Read somwhere don't remember where

that this error

Error while loading fss0:
atmosphere/fusee-secondary.bin
Wrong ini cfg or missing/corrupt files!
Failed to launch HOS!

and the Failed to run tsec_keygen firmware error

is because AMS from 1.1.0 not is compatible with devices running with SX core.
Is this right and if so will there be a fix soon?
No, Atmosphere updated the names of some of their components. Fusee-secondary.bin was renamed to package3 which is what your error is about. Rename fusee-secondary.bin to package3 in your hekate_ipl.ini file
Hey, this is such a noob question, but: i‘ve been playing an nsp game on my emummc(has a linked nintendo account), always using 90DNS, but it shows 20hours played on the game on the profile information. If I were to connect accidentally my emummc to Nintendo servers, could those informations be registered on the sysmmc ? Thx
Well emuMMC and sysMMC share the same certificate for going online so any information that emuMMC transmits online is information that would also be tied to sysMMC's certificate.

Thanks for letting me know this. The video tutorials I watched never even mentioned it. I'm going to do this right now.

Ok thanks a lot! I have the latest Atmosphere but my firmware is 11.0.0 since I update my firmware recently for my previous cfw that I stopped using because it stopped working.

Also, would I need to install the Linux update? I planned on adding RetroPie and the PS2 emulator to it but I don't know if I need the update or not.

Sorry, not very familiar with Linux but I don't see any reason why you shouldn't update it. If its anything like CFW, you should usually be on the latest version.

Apparently we can run unsigned code via KOTOR modding. Does that mean we can use it as an exploit for the newer models like the lite and OLED?

Nobody stated this and you simply misread the comment. They said "We have full access to run unsigned code so you could mod the game." What they are saying is that we have full access to run unsigned code on the Switch therefore it is possible to mod the game on the Switch. Nowhere did they state that modding grants full access to run unsigned code.

hello, i hope my question get's noticed from this giant stack of O_O comments but i was wondering with the NHSE tool is it possible to have NPC as villagers in animal crossing new horizon?? like let's say if i want isabella as a villager?? - the reason i ask this cause i wanted to have the new monkey npc from the dlc happy home designer as a villager badly T_T

So before I updated Atmosphere I think I accidentally clicked on update when I ran a game but I quickly cancelled it. Don't know if cased any issues but it did update to 13.1.0 Atmosphere v1.2.4 Anyway, every time I try to install anything with Awoo and NS-USBloader it fails to install. How can I get it working again so I can reinstall my games before I dual booyed my switch

I'm wondering how to fix cfw 13.1.0 Atmosphere 1.2.4 because mostly when I turn off my switch my games become corrupt. Everything works fine after I install them, I can play them but then when I boot the switch the games are corrupt. Especially when I boot Hekate payload from my laptop. I boot Atmosphere from it and try to play a game but my games become corrupt. Plus I can't install any when I boot it up like that. I have to use the Atmosphere payload directly from the laptop then I can install but again, right after I turn the switch off the games become corrupt again. Can I get some help.

What format is your microSD card?

Fat32. I used Daybreak to install it (it was my first time I used it and also updated that way). I never had issues when I used ChoiDujourNX.

I installed 5 games and 2 of them were corrupt (although not including the 2 I just had to reinstall that got corrupt).

I hope Atmosphere can get an update to fix this issue.

I don't think they're corrupt. Sounds more like a sigpatch issue. If you use the Atmosphère payload, do they still get corrupt? I mean always using the Atmosphère payload.

Most of the time yes. Half of the games work while the other half don't. I don't know if I should use the update sigpatches option in Awoo Installer but I already have the ones from a thread here on gbatemp. But yet again, I do have the reboot payload changed to Hekate. But I've been using the same updated ones for almost a week now (since I've been using my switch again).

Does it always give the error when starting via Hekate? I think the sigpatches aren't properly loaded with Hekate.

Yeah it does. This is my Hekate file from bootloader/ini. I don't know if there's anything else I'd need to fix.
Also it seems all of my Pokemon games crash. I don't know how to make Edison disabled when booting up a game. Because I changed the number in the Atmosphere/configtemplate/ system settings .ini but it didn't work, I have Tesla overlay installed and right at boot all of the cheats are on. So can I get help with that too because that could be 1 issue why the game is always crashing after I added the cheats adfer I updated the game.

I wanted to ask if this type of sdcard
SmartSelect_20211116-095024_Edge.jpg
is compatible with the Switch?

2 questions before I continue.

Is 13.1 the newest update and is it safe to update to the latest firmware?

Where can I find 13.1 files? Thanks

Just bought an OLED switch to go along with my release day Switch, can I use the memory card I'm using in my current switch to move the save files over on a few games?

Couple of games I want to play legit with friends since my console got banned that's all but don't want this one banned also!

What are the biggest risks when using the "paper-clip" method to enter RCM?

Like, what happens if I accidentally connect Pin 1 and 2 with one end of my thick paperclip, and accidentally hit pin 10 and 9 on the other side..?
Are there safer DIY methods than the paper-clip? What should I look out for?
Also, I only have to do this once, right? Then I can enable AutoRCM afterwards if I follow the correct tutorials, right?

I have no access to a 3D-printer, and I can't find any jigs outside of eBay that ships to Norway. Which is gonna take 1-2 months. And I wanna jailbreak this console NOW. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
