Hey everyone,

I recently formatted my SD card as going from one version of Atmosphere to another corrupted a lot of my game data.

I forgot to backup the latest save games for my profiles.

Having installed lates Hekate, Atmosphere, etc, I found that my profiles and save data had reverted to an older point in time.

Is there anything I can do? Wasn't there something about all profile and save data being installed on the physical switch and not the SD card?

I appreciate any advice on how to resolve this issue. Cheers

Unless you're using emuMMC, all your save games are on the internal memory, not on your SD card.
With emuMMC the internal memory runs from an image/partition on the SD card.
Any update to a savegame is also made on the image/partition on the SD card.
If you went from using emuMMC to just the interal memory again, then that partition should still be there.
With some tools and a lot of effort, you can mount that partition on a PC and pull out the save data and put it back on your internal memory (with the risk of messing up your internal memory as well).

If this was on sysMMC, there is no recovering the save files.
