Lmao is it really just static?
I am not certain. I tried looking for pointer the normal way at first but found that it smell like the kind where pointer from main are not reliable. After a while the only one left on my bookmark was the static one.

The way I go about making code is I have some bookmarks that get eliminated over some play and relaunch. After a while I pick one each from the remaining ones that has smaller offsets and those that show pattern that are in sync.

Rocket isn't static. I search for pointer that originate from address that is not too far from hp and moon jump. It works fine for me and seems like it didn't work for some. Currently this kind is search by hand but without knowing what are the variation that may cause it to not work there isn't a way to pick and choose even if I make a tool to search for it. Actually one person said it works and one not.

Let me know if these code works for you.

There is this jump I think is not possible after making it so went back and found the proper route. I also fetched 2 extra rocket slots that was not suppose to be able to reach yet but with that kind I don't really care. That is also the reason I put it on ZL+B and not B. With B the game is spoiled.

I do admit there is some danger of spoiling it unconsciously. As I do use it quite often like I show in the video to save some time.
i do like moonjumps and you know me! but it sometimes spoils the exploration or worse lock your save progress by disabling a flag for an upcoming event forcing you to restart from last game save, it did not happen to me in Metroid yet, i am not using using moonjump to reach unintended areas

---

@xtatu the Slow Enemy Speed cheat does not work on the Dread Robot
[The thing that chase and kill you]

can you slow the Dread walk speed down to 2.0x:rofl2:
or
Delete him from the game by disabling the enemy type completely?
there is a skill that allow you to be invisible and avoid it
also a way to to file Rockets without holding R Button

Code can be dangerous, it appears my item code for unmetal may be problematic if enabled before items has been obtained in the game. I can only make the code when I have the item so I won't experience this kind of use case. That game did have some puzzle that I was stuck for a while and when that happened I would be thinking had I damaged the game logic with my hacking.

@xtatu a code like your signature "hit any where code", a "press X always have exact timing" so every time you escape the E.M.M.I would be nice. Way too often got into a corner with low ceiling so no way to moon jump or fly away.

if it helps, this game is running on the same game engine for Metroid 2 Samus Returns on 3DS Developed by Mercury Steam, they also Helped Developed Metroid Dread, and they also made the Xbox Live and 3DS Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate

they made the incredible Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, then they ruined their reputation with the sequel !

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MercurySteam :

Nintendo Life reported that MercurySteam had worked on a Metroid prototype for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, that was later turned down and possibly retrofitted into a different project, It was later revealed that they had pitched for a remake of Metroid Fusion. This pitch was rejected, but because series creator Yoshio Sakamoto was impressed by the pitch and the team's love of Metroid, they were hired to collaborate on Metroid: Samus Returns instead.

MercurySteam collaborated with Nintendo again to develop a new Metroid game, Metroid Dread, for the Nintendo Switch, after the developers demonstrated that they could develop games for the platform
