I am not sure exact version. Title screen just says ver 110. Is it true I can just change BID of cheat file for Edizon to match my game's BID? I read on another thread that sometimes works? Since my switch is hacked, am afraid to go online to get game update. Is there a way to update a game without switch being online?

Is there a way to update a game without switch being online? you can download the files on the net and put em on your SD card and install with homebrew app like Goldleaf

Hi guys. Should I use Goldleaf or Tinfoil for game updates? Also, do they work with games that are on gamecards? I mean, can either Goldleaf or Tinfoil download and install game updates for physical games? I have no experience with either. Help appreciated :)

I use awoo and yes they work for gamecards

Just as a heads up, using a combination of the in-game cheat shop and auto battling, you can get to max level really quite fast, which should get you through the main story.

I'm not one to put people off cheating, but if you just want to crack on with the game, it's a decent option for you.

Thanks for the help and info guys! I have a few questions about Tinfoil though:

- After updating Switch FW to latest, as well as latest Hekate and Atmosphere, some of my homebrew apps crash right away when in CFW Applet mode. For Tinfoil, is it safe/ok to run that through title/game override?

- Since I would be connecting my Switch to internet/online for Tinfoil to get game updates and such, is 90DNS enough? I don't have an EmuNAND.

- Does Tinfoil find/get games and updates for you, or do I have to get them through other means?

- Lets say that a game I have is installed to mSD instead of to the internal memory. When I get an update for said game, does that also have to be installed to same location?

Thoughts and help appreciated :)

I can't answer tinfoil, I use awoo installer, it's ONLY usable in override not applet

I've HEARD 90dns isn't enough anymore, but I don't know, I used incognitoRCM (just Google that and read how it works), I think atmosphere can fake what incognito does through its firmware, but someone that does it will have to follow up on that

You have to get the updates through other means, be careful, there's a lot of malware and brickware out there if you're just using Google

As for location I'm not SURE SURE(i only used micro sd) but I'm pretty sure you can install them to either location and the switch will still load it properly
