Hi, does anyone know how to reinstall Eshop on 3ds?
A update from system menu usually brings back system apps like the eshop. Even when your console is on the latest fw version.

What exactly happened that the eshop app dissappeared on you?

Well I was downloading Dev FW apps like dev menu and bigbluemenu and after I did eshop just disappeared

Okay
Turn your 3DS off, then hold DPAD UP, L, R, and A while pressing the power button.

Then accept the update.
Okay I did what you said and my 3ds said "An Error Has Occurred.
Unable To Update. The System Will Now Shut Off".
What Do I Do!?

Hmm.... Well, I guess you'll need to just do the NTRBoot Method, which needs a compatible cartridge. The one I'd recommend is the R4i Gold 3DS Plus. Seems like it's out of stock, though. Just try to find one that can do NTRBoot out of the box.

What is the NTRBoot Method?

You'll need the aformentioned flashcart, a magnet, (unless you have a old 2DS) and an SD Card

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Along with a PC to move files

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

you might also need an sd card for the flashcart itself

Thx. I think I already have an R4 card in my house from my O3DS so I don't need to buy one

Oh! and now that I think about it, that update error could've been for any number of reasons. Maybe the nintendo servers were down, or your 2DS couldn't connect to the servers (despite connecting to the internet)

Well like I said to lone_wolf323, I was downloading dev menu and bibluemenu and that's when eshop disappeared. So the update error was never my main problem. But thx to you and Sthetix, my 2ds is back to normal. And I got got the menus downloaded. So that's a bonus. I hope that the other people who goes to see this thread learns something!

iirc, dev menu and big blue menu are like fbi. you don't need either, just fbi. I think they were mostly for people with gateway, and gateway is now crap.
