Hi there,

I would like to ask you guys what information you have about the different manufacturers of LCD screens for the switch. I know there are three possibilities: JDI, Innolux and AUO.

There are any comparision between them? Wich one has better quality? are the three IPS? pros and cons of each one?

Cheers!

I know this is a very old thread but I would like to know too, particularly AUO vs. Innolux

the JDI are the launch switches which have been phased out

Also who makes the Switch lite screens?

LPM should be LTPS and LAM should be A-Si iirc.

They could be the unknown vendor for Lites I guess, or they might be producing the OLED screens for Aula.

do you know how common lcd inversion / temporary runny horizontal lines are on v2 switches?

my v1 presumably JDI around launch doesn’t have it. My animal crossing one does. But the screen ain’t bad overall

Dunno, this is the first I’ve heard of it, so probably not very common shrugs

theres just a warm up period of the display of like 10 minutes before the runny lines vanish

im not sure its worth fussing over since the colors of this unit are great, and the second one I compared probably would do the same and was much yellower.
