I found a way to change the palamute and palico's name so you have go to east part of town (across from bridge) and talk to Lori about change the name for both buddies, so hopefully helpful.

can you tell me your game setup? are you on 1.1.1 or 1.1.2
show me the cheat code you used for Damage multiplayer

it should work for online and local, but the effect is only for you

some users say they have it only if they are the Lobby Host, some say they join other hosts lobby and still have it

personally i have tested it in local multiplayer and had the damage cheat working

you can also talk to the buddy totem next to your equipment box outside in the village

    use any 1.1.2 charm cheat you find, better to make separate cheat file and add all of them, disable auto save, and only save after you finish, check if you can access rampage skills menu and there are no white helmet with zero sell value and no info

    if you followed my guide you will not spawn a white helmet just remember to empty the first 10 slots in First row of equipment [See Picture] to avoid spawning a White Helmet

    [Do not try and hack charms into anything below Rarity 7 Talisman Charms]
    Steps to add a God charm into your game:
    > Equip a RARITY 7 charm > then Press B and back out to Equipment menu
    > Access Tesla Menu and Turn ON any God /Legit Charm cheat
    > Go inside quipped gear and press A on your equipped Charm, it will turn into a God/Legal Charm, Turn OFF cheat
    [sometimes it will already be converted to your new hacked charm, so skip this step and do another one etc

    always turn off the cheat the moment you get your new charm before you try to make another God charm
    >profit

    i attached for you 3 files, the first 2 are charms modded with max stats not possible to get through normal means in the game
    the 3rd file 35-CHARMS-3-1-1-LEGAL.rar
    has legal stats, but you still wont see them in the game because of Stupid RNG

    remember to only turn on cheat one, then OFF before you try to hack another charm, dont go to any other menu when a hack cheat is on, you will crash your game.

    Has anyone modded their save file on a clean switch and used it online? Wondering if it might result in a ban if I do (I'm not saying running homebrew on my vanilla switch, I was thinking of making a nand backup, mounting, pulling the save file, importing to hacked switch, modding it and then sending it back to the vanilla switch... pretty convoluted process but I don't want to run cfw on my vanilla switch) that being said... if I do a legit char, nothing broken, is there a chance of ban from capcom perhaps? Just wondering if anyone had experienced it.

    I have download some of my friends save through the cloud service, modded with charms and reuploaded it back to cloud since day 1 of charm cheats.
    Were still playing to this day no ban and I'm the only one with CFW

    no one has been banned from any monster hunter series be it on 3ds, wii, wii u, ps4, PC or Switch
    dont mod your save with paid DLC content that you did not buy yourself, and you will be fine
