This may not be of any help at all...but when I was using PSVR on 5.05, for whatever reason, after a while MiraHen would tell me basically the same thing, and wouldn't work. I had to resort to using a different Mira that didn't have HEN in the title, and then it would work. Again, this was on 5.05 and was at least a year and a half ago, so I'm not sure if this is actually a similar issue or not. At the time I couldn't find ANY answers on the subject, and just figured out the aforementioned "workaround" on my own.
Good luck!

Thanks man, I'll have to look for another dash that has Mira and try it. My experience was the same, working fine in January, barely used my PS4 since, now it refuses to work insisting I need to update my PSVR. It seems the "spoof" still has some bugs in it.

Welp, I'd love you tell you all that I solved this but I did not. I ended up buying another PSVR Processor unit (the black box) that had PSVR firmware ver 4.10 in it off of eBay. This plays much nicer with my 6.72 PS4 PRO and doesn't get stuck in that update loop.

I did notice that after activating HEN and going into the Devices settings it also reported as having firmware 255.255 so it must be something HEN does to spoof. If I go in/out of rest mode with HEN it goes back to showing 4.10. Not sure why my ver 5.00 box didn't work for me despite you all saying the same setup was fine on your end but I'll probably toss that back up on eBay to break even.

So how does this effect us on 7.55?

If I say wanted to get a PSVR unit and keep my console OFFLINE and I am on 7.55, will it update the VR unit or do you need to go online? I am also assuming that once you enable HEN on 7.55 the VR games launch just the same as regular packages do? Nothing special that needs to be done for PSVR?

Sorry for bumping again. Just wondering if for those of us on 7.55 and Hen - Does the PSVR just work? Like if it needs a FW update on the headset itself, is that contained in the FW or game? Does it NEED to go online to get the latest FW for the headset?

Thanks!

After switching from 5.05 to 6.72 I need to update the headset (FW 4.10). Now I on 7.55 and everything is working well, no update needed (still FW 4.10) I using GoldHEN 1.1 If you want to update the headset go to Devices => PlayStation VR => PlayStation VR Device Software, you have to be online.

Gotcha. So might be best to plug it into another online PS4 to update all the way. Looks like the PS4 firmware doesnt support updating the PSVR without going online. Is where any way to see what FW the PSVR is on offline?

Even if you are offline you can check headset FW go to Devices => PlayStation VR => PlayStation VR Device Software, there should be some numbers above.

Hello, I have a ps4 with 6.72.
I had a glasses but i had to buy others as the processor unit doesn't work.
I test the new processor unit with the old glasses and it gave the same error than people said here.
The issue is both proccesor unit and glasses need to have the same Fimware.
For that loading GoldHEN, activate Internet and update the psvr. Now the latest fw is 5.0.

Everything works great.
Note : if you put the glass on with the OF, it will ask to update the ps4.
Using Golden zero issues.
