I've played this Smash 3DS Cartridge on 3 3DS's and it would always randomly load infinitely...What do I do? I tried using some alcohol trick but it'd never work

Funnily enough, I've got the same kind of issue.

For even more weirdness, try Multi-Man Smash in Endless. If you can get to 72 KOs, Miis will stop spawning. Same for 100-Man, but you'll get to score 95 KOs (5 left).

It's like the game tries to load a character, fails and keeps going as far as it can until the 'slots' fill up with pending normal character spawns.

I took a couple screenshots of the phenomenon (via Rosalina), and I'll upload them when I get a chance.

Edit: I installed the game from a cart dump, then imported my save and extdata, and the same thing still happens.

Here's how I solved this problem.
I had the same Issue with the digital version would get infinite loading screens in some game modes or after random fights.
Tried deleting everything related with the game in the console (game, update and DLC) and had the same issue when reinstalling from scratch (nooo my saveeeesss). Before this I thought there was something wrong with my .cia game, so I borrowed from a friend a physical copy of the game and it failed too.

Decided to forget about it for a couple of months, later then I decided to install colors! 3D and Triforce heroes, Triforce heroes needed an update, I was lazy to look for the update.cia file on the internet so I clicked on "download update" so see if it worked out of lazyness, because with some previous titles I had tried I'd always get the error code 007-2920 so I had assumed that you couldn't update cia files from the e-shop, turns out you can.
After doing some research I found that there are these things called "Tickets" AND the software version (mayor, minor and micro, for example version 1.2.3 [1 being the mayor, 2 the minor and 3 the micro]) which the e-shop verifies when trying to download content to the console. Turns out that the update .cia file that I was using was corrupted or something, which explains why the game would crash even with a physical copy (and points that the .cia files from the other games I couldn't update were built with a wrong version).

(TLDR)
So I proceeded to install just the game without the update and DLC, updated from the e-shop, then installed the dlc and everything works fine now yayyyyyy :D

Note: since I didn't find any solution online I decided to post here what worked for me, I hope it helps others ^ ^
