That part at the end about changing an address so the cheat works for the USA version, does it apply to all the cheats in that list in the exact same way you posted in the example?

no only about 8 cheats worked
we just used the Japanese game and its cheats to try and figure where is our USA region address, i gave the cheats to some users and they were able to find USA versions, i shared what we found in my Monster hunter cheats Topic
the cheat you want for materials it works but with a side effect, maybe because it is not the correct address for the usa region
you will get 9999999999999999 materials from Gathering or Carving and also quest end Rewards, but every now and then your game will lag and pause for a few seconds
maybe someone with coding skills can find the real address for 2x materials Gained from Gathering, Carving, Quest Rewards

Damn, 3 white helmets appeared in my save
Wonder if there is a way to remove them
I haven’t found the code yet to remove a specific slot from the vault. It is absolutely necessary to move the first equipment of the box to have the first empty slot.

someone make a cheat to replace patch first item in storage box into an item from the actual game
just place the white helmet in first slot
push a button and patch it to an actual item
maybe this will fix the crash

I'll be cautious while using it, until a proper USA version is created.
The code just hack every one until the 99th or any number if you change the loop count. Look at the code and compare it with the one that hack just one, you will see that skill 1 and skill 2 isn't hacked, it hack the slot to 3-2-1 and put the same three deco in the slots.
White helmet is in the equipment box instead of the storage box
I will try to find the memory address of the equipment box
Here is how I will try to remove the white helmet
1. Move the white helmet to the end of the equipment box
2. Move the Talisman with the special ID to the front of the white helmet, and find its position
3. Manually delete those white helmets from the memory

Ok, that is slightly incorrect, as the highlighted letter/number is more of a signature than region, for those who know speedfly's code, his code start with 04070000. so it not so much a region as it a signature. in fact, as long as another code doesnt set the register, you can 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,or D. again as long as register, which is the fourth highlighted digit/letter is 0, ANY register will work.

The Heavy Bow Gun has a Special Rapid Fire Mode, you access it by Pressing A Button, your Hunter loads a special Ammo and you fire like Ratatatatatatatatatatata then it ends, you have to wait for it to recover to use again, can we make him fire it forever? without ever reloading
