I have just sold my legit Nintendo Switch account in order not to risk the account just in case if my switch will get banned from CFW.
But before doing that i have backed up all my save files with checkpoint(while being offline and with emummc).
So my question is will i still risk the account in getting banned,
even if it's not linked to my console anymore, I mean is there any hidden traces in the save files that will indicate otherwise?
Thank you in advance.

They block console certificates not accounts.

So if you had CFW on your legit switch and it went online at some point I am sure the log files would of been sent to the big N and the sold legit switch may end up being banned but I could be wrong.

Never been online, only used CFW in emummc while being offline, i have just recently went online with 90dns and blanking my prodinfo but that only after i have sold the account, i just don't want to get him banned while using the save files i transferred from the legit account before selling it.

It doesn't matter what was done with the account. A Switch will not be banned unless you use CFW on that specific system.

I have 2 Switch, 1 hacked and 1 virgin, and since I cant use PKHex with my virgin Switch I transfer my S&S save file to my emuNAND on my hacked Switch(Normal save transfer connecting both to the Internet/Nintendo Server), edit it and them send it back to the virgin Switch. Same account in both Switch and been doing that for like a year and none of the Switch have been banned nor my account.

For in-game ban in Super Smash Bros Ultimate - not just in-game console ban, they ban on cartridge's certificate or Nintendo account for in-game only, also tried to play online on clean 2nd Switch and still banned.

What I meant was that if there is any chance that Nintendo can trace the original account based on the save files (and ban the buyer's switch) that were exported using the checkpoint application and were imported to a different switch system.
So can the new owner of the original account get banned by me using the save files on a different switch system(I don't mind to get my switch banned, I just don't want to get his switch banned).

The unmodified Switch will not get banned for this.
