Hardware Official Gamecube in Windows

I have a WUP-028, however I have encountered some problems, I would like to know if they are from the configuration that I have or is it simply a limitation.

I followed these instructions

However it does not recognize the D-pad as POV but as individual buttons. In games like Smash Flash 2, if I press the triggers to use the shield, it is permanently activated no matter how much I press them again.
