@alexander1970 Social networks represents a clear reflection of Maslow's Pyramid. Mix that with the fact that most internet users are young unattended boys and girls, and voilà... you have an EOF thread.

GBAtemp is literally flooding with unattended children whom thinks that dumb casual games and memes are the best thing ever, only to forget it 5 days later because (literally) their brains can't keep the information long enough to make it relevant...or until something worse pops out of nowhere and it turns into a 5 day long trend.

I think you just unintentionally hit the nail on the head as to why the certain spectral pineapple has been laying low off the site.
Since they are not comedians for a living, I don't really expect much from their humor or even judge too harsh against them.
