ACNH/SXcore Lost Data using JKSV/NHSE.
Switch is running sx core beta_v3.0.5 emunad firmware 10.0.2
1.so i installed JKSV ver 06.07.2020 found the animal crossing and performed a backup.
2.ftp the folder to my desktop and opened up NHSE.
3.NHSE ask to to create a bac folder so I did and this created a backup as well.
4.In NHSE I added a villager and house saved and then saved again.
5.took the folder and renamed it to aqua ftp back to the switch opened JKSV hit restore backup but used the new folder called aqua and was patting myself on the back.
Then I fired up ACNH and was shocked to see all progress was lost, so I said np I have a backup so I tried to restore from the original backup but that didn't work either. Am I missing something here?
also not sure if this helps but with in NHSE I can see it has my villager's name"abby" which is my daughters game and she will kill me if I don't get this working lol
not sure if its allowed but I can post the folder I backup just in case its needed to tell me where I went wrong.
