Hardware Will the switch charge on dock without/broken PI3USB?

Bought a broken switch that came with a maybe broken dock

What has now been done to the switch:
Replaced M92T36 and PI3USB and also had to do trace repair on the USB-C connector

Have now confirmed that the USB-C connector repair was succesful, measured every pin multiple times.
PI3USB has 3.3v also mesured all of the filters which checks out good.

Everything seems to work now but ít is not docking, the switch fast charges both ways and also usb connection works when not in dock.

Now to the question any way to confirm that a dock is working? without a second Switch/Dock.
the switch or dock does not recognise each other it does not show green light or even charge
Only life I can see from the dock is a really quick green light when plugging in the power adapter to the dock
the dock had a little bent pin where the switch is docked into, but it has now been bent back and seems okay.

So the dock got probably shorted by the bent pin.

dismantle the dock, reassemble all the electronics outside the case and plug into the switch. if that doesn't work turn the dock connector 180 degrees into the switch USB port and try again. It will tell you if the Dock USB is knackered or if the main board is knackered.
Alternatively use a USB C to HDMI converter to test out the switch and see if it can display on the screen.

Dismantled the dock today and tried both ways but still the same problem no charging or video.
also forgot to mention that I am using a brand new genuine nintendo switch AC adapter.

Also measured every pin on the flex connector on the dock motherboard end and did not find the 15v charging voltage or it might have a enable pin that it only outputs 15v when switch is detected?, because if the 15v should always be there then this dock motherboard is 100% faulty.

Checked the dock motherboard under the microscope and everything seems fine on the outside.
Current draw on the dock is 0.0107
