What they should do is like what the piratebay does....just host a bunch of different proxy websites all over the world so if one gets taken down you can easily access another.

They should put their site on the tor network. .onion style

Well hey, we still got a SHITLOAD of Switch games over the last 3 and a half years, so I'd say they had a good run, and some games coming out will still load up fine!

I really don’t understand why pirating and modding sites don’t move to tor. My guess as to why is that they don’t want to be associated with the dark web name which people associate with drugs, fraud, illicit images, etc.

It would allow for more modding and piracy websites to host whatever they want for copyrighted content without the normal hush hush pm it to me policy sites nowadays follow.

EDIT: a good middle ground would be to use one of the newer decentralized hosting options out there that use IPFS vs Tor. That would separate them from the dark web.

Yea, I could see that being a big one. I doubt a lot of places would allow ads to run on a Tor page but I wonder if chip resellers and other ad companies would be willing to run ads for the decentralized webpages since those don’t have the “dark web” associated with it like TOR does.

I think whoever manages the activation servers should move them to decentralized hosting that way chips can still be activated when the site goes down every few days.

because the superior option does not boot on Mariko Switches like the Lite or V2 normal models. As soon as it does I am sure plenty including myself will be jumping ship.
