My SX Core is still on its way and I won't receive the flux before the beginning of November...

Do you it could be possible to connect the SX core using some wires and some tape just for a second, just to pass the activation ?

No you need 1 Switch + sx core installed to activate the license, no other way

I have my Switch (V2) already. I was thinking of opening it, remove the fan and heat sink. Clean the processor and then put some thins wires to create connections with the SX Core. I would maintain the wires with some tape.

Then I guess I would start the console, wait for the Error.dat or whatever, then insert my prepared SD card, generate the activation request file and then unplug everything and leave my switch in a box until I receive some flux to solder it for real.

So you have already sx core, you just can't have it installed correctly by yourself, right? So yes in this case you can do it

I don't think they're going to be able to even get it to run with wires and tape.

I guess I'll update to the latest SXOS firmware before they finally shut down I think all games still work since there isn't a newer firmware update yet

I'll solder it myself but I'll practice on a broken GPU first. So for sure I won't be able to solder it on day one. That's why I'd like to hot plug it when I'll receive it.

I'm waiting for a sx core too, hope it'll be delivered in 1, 2 days. In fact I'm an amateur too without many experiences in soldering but I had it installed correctly at the first time with a 3x loop (the soldering is not too terrible ^^). Good luck!

I tried a few hours ago to active an Sx Core license,but the server only returned error for a few minutes. So,I tried twice to active by switch,the first one the switch tried for 4-5minutes to connect with the server and I got an error of invalid license for my Sx Core,the second Idk why,but worked in 3-4 seconds,I guess the server is still with some kind of internal error,cuz I didn't understand why didn't work the first attempt and the second worked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just tried join their websites. It's like SUPER SLOW. Feels like I connected to a server on ADSL.
So you guys that got issues with activating licenses, try and try again it seems.

Their services have come back online, along with forums etc. Working for me without VPN or DNS magic.
