I've been trying to install mods for New Horizons using SX OS (Mariko) but none are working. It just crashes when I boot the game with the error code 2011-0301

- I find some mods on Gamebanana or this website and I followed a tutorial (which I can't link) to replace hourly songs with my own game files (Crash)
- I put mods in (/sxos/titles/01006F8002326000/romfs)
- I'm using the version 1.4.2 and CFW is on 10.1.0

Am I doing anything wrong? Mods for other games works fine (Skyrim, Mario Odyssey)
Does anyone who has a modded New Horizons with SX OS knows why is this happening?

Edit: Nevermind found out SXOS have many issues with LayeredFS (still weird that mods for other games works fine using this method but not ACNH)

Why dont you try nhse, poker or the app?

From what I know SX OS issue is linked to how much files game have (physically in romfs, not in layeredfs). If there is too much files, cfw may crash while trying to create metadata including information about all files if it will detect that there are layeredfs mods pasted.

Atmosphere not so long ago made changes to that process to fix issue with games that have tens of thousands of files.

I don't see how I can replace game files using these tools?
Because you havent even tried?
There are 2 ways to mod acnh, via wifi or mod the save with NHSE.
Via WiFi will let you inject stuff to your inventory, change turnip prices, change vilagers and a few other stuff.
Via NHSE you need jksv to backup and extract the save (checkpoint isnt able to do it), then with nhse you can change mostly everything (fill your critterpedia, learn all diy, change the map, and many more stuff)

I'm talking about replacing game files such as audio and textures, I don't think any of these tools can do that

I wish I could be on Atmosphere :(
