I don't know. I was able to hex in the gamefaqs save into a memory card pretty easily. the save I was supplied had 120 shines in slot 1, 3 in slot 2, and no data in slot 3.

Again if you want to try to hex the gamefaqs save into the switch save i upped i can try it and see if it works. I'm willing to be a guinea pig for this o.o

I don't know if the save that I did for sunshine will help. I injected it via hex into a memory card image. the one from gamefaqs I'm pretty sure, and that one worked. I think I got all empty files with the one from the switch. and, I know that the save from galaxy is decompressed unlike the original wii which also contains a banner. the saves look very similar, but it will show up as corrupted if you try compressing it into a data.bin for the wii.

Alright so I managed to find a structure of a gci and fiddled with some stuff for sunshine. Just wanted to up here just to see if everything is okay. If anything is broken lmk (ofc rename to .sav for it to work). If it works then that means we have a complete save for sunshine.

Bad news - it said memory card is corrupted.

hmmm then the memory card format must be different in someway. i can definitely tell somethings up as it differs from just about every other memory card format ive seen.

That's great to hear! Looking forward to when you're able to beat everything. Thanks again for the Galaxy save. I'll edit OP and compile a save thing once everything is confirmed working.

Unfortunately not, at least not right now. Hagi's memory card format (GC/Wii emu) needs to be better understood first to see how it differs from GCI's and the like.

Oh sadly I don't have Checkpoint, nor know how to use it since I have never bothered, I always stuck to Edizon due to its saving+cheat capabilities.
Try dumping a clean save with Checkpoint and comparing it with the one from Edizon, you might be able to copy-paste the actual saves easily that way.
