Has anyone dumped the Super Mario 64 / Sunshine rom / iso?

Yeah, it works in Dolphin. It has all the videos blacked out, but you still hear the audio.

I tried swapping the GCM with an old Melee demo, but it didn't boot on the Switch. The GCM seems to have some hash checks.

I hate to be that person but why not just buy it they game it's cheap enough I got three copies as I work in a gamestop and we had 20 copies sent to us and one is mine the other is for my boyfriend the other is for my neighbours child with learning disabilaties i babysit during a weekend.some stores are still taking preorders so if you want a copy grab one before the scalpers buy them all just like the toilet paper and hand sanitizer. I been playingmine during my breaks and really enjoying sunshine as i have never played it while I have played galaxy and 64.

I bought 2 copies. One to open and play and one to leave sealed. I wanted it to leak so I could play it now instead of waiting until Friday and now with the discovery that they’re ran by emulators I want to see what kind of mods people come up with

The only mod I would want to see is a 16:9 mod for mario 64 as i feel they cheaped out on that yes they tidyed it up but if everything else is 16:9 in reslolution why is 64 only 4:3?

Playing Sunshine right now, the cutscenes definitely look AI upscaled. Lots of the stuff that originally was pixellated is strangely smoothed out with a bit of artifacting, it's most noticeable so far on the F.L.U.D.D. cutscene where it shows a small view of Mario swinging Bowser since there's lots of motion artifacts.

Trying to replace the gcm with the original sunshine gcm causes it take forever and then crash, so reports about Luigi's Mansion are probably fake.

I know Piracy is the easy way out but some games are actually worth the money as a lot of love goes into making them, while some... tend to be a bit? lacking much creativity or actual value but then again that's just my opinion. ^w^

Because Nintendo is being a greedy asshole by purposely patronizing their scalpers biggest fans by limiting sale not only physically, but digitally as well. Erasing the existence of this game for Mario's 25 35th anniversary would make Iwata roll in his grave. Also Nintendo did barely any effort on this. This shit is emulated.

no, nintendo does emulate n64 and gc on this collection but galaxy is recompiled which means its not emulated they just ported the source code altogether.

In that case I'll rephrase what I said Nintendo added N64,GC & Wii emulation to the Switch.
